Embrace the Rogue approach.
About
Will Haworth - Founder - Rogue NDT
Rogue NDT was built around a pretty simple idea: NDT expertise should be practical, accessible, and useful.
I'm Will Haworth, an NDT Level III and AWS Certified Welding Inspector with experience ranging from hands-on inspection to training, application engineering, advanced ultrasonics, and Level III program support. I started Rogue NDT to put that experience to work helping companies train better technicians, manage stronger NDT programs, and solve inspection problems that don't always have an obvious answer.
How I Got Here
My career didn't start behind a desk. I came up through welding, inspection, and hands-on NDT before moving into Level III work, training, and application engineering. Along the way, I've worked on everything from structural steel to power generation, climbed roller coasters and towers, gone down mines and into dams, and used everything from conventional UT to phased array, TFM, and automated inspection on welds, composites, and some genuinely unusual applications.
That range of experience shaped the way I approach NDT today. Codes and standards matter, but so does understanding what actually works in the field. Whether I'm teaching a class, supporting a company's NDT program, or developing an inspection technique, the goal is the same: find a practical solution and make sure the people using it understand why it works.
